What is video vignette?

VIDEO VIGNETTE is a wonderful way to take an entire event's worth of photographs and live video to put into a carefully crafted video montage. You'll walk seamlessly through a special memory, from start to finish, and you'll be able to view this over and over again, as we capture all the special little things that document your event.

We take many of your photographer's still photographs and live video, along with family and friends' photos to produce a 20 - 30 minute DVD. Now regardless of whether Jack is there to video your event, or you have chosen another photographer for your day, he'll use the photos you've selected and take this into studio to put a truly cherished visual memory. We add just the right music (that you select by the way) to add a little atmosphere and entertainment, and we recreate your special event in a short video that you will have to watch and enjoy again and again.

What a great way to take all these wonderful snapshots and video, and put it into something the entire family can enjoy!

And of course . . . Jack would love to be your videographer at your special event (i.e., Anniversary, Barmitzvah, Retirement, Graduation, etc.). Being your videographer, Jack already knows what it takes to make great video montages and he'll keep that in mind throughout the course of the video shoot.

Let's talk about the details . . . We use a combination of still photography and live video which is taken the day of your event. These photographs can be those which are taken by Jack, those which are taken by your other photographer, or even those taken by friend and family. Along with that, Jack also will use any video taken that day to produce a clearly refined memory of the days activities. The Vignette can be as long or short as you would prefer. Based on your needs and wishes, you choose whether you would like a small excerpt from the event, or you may choose several special moments you care to keep. And of course we will be happy to cover the entire event . . . . it's all up to YOU! The choices are endless. We have the capability to place a wireless microphones where needed in order to capture the sounds, music, and participants. Whenever possible we use a 2-camera approach; one camera is stationery while the other is moving, which can capture and transition between the events of the day. What we need to get started . . . FOR A WEDDING WE'LL NEED . . . To get the ball rolling we'll need to have photos of both the bride and groom starting from birth through dating, along with any special memories they'd like to have captured. In addition, we can also use photographs of the bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, or any other wedding related event you may have. LOOKING TO ENHANCE THE REHEARSAL DINNER . . . If you chose, we also can have a wonderful photo montage presentation produced on a DVD, that could be shown at the rehearsal dinner or played continuously throughout the course of the reception.
